Built by Ilia I.

I'm Ilia, a software engineer with a background in technology audit at multinational firms. I built EasyTimer on the side because I couldn't find a free online timer that just worked, without ads, popups, signup walls, or megabytes of tracking scripts loading before the timer even appears. Most free online timers wrap a 30-second task in friction designed to retain you for tomorrow: newsletter prompts, trial upsells, scripts that load before the digits do. I just needed something I could open mid-presentation, project on a classroom wall, or drop into an OBS scene without thinking — and not feel slightly annoyed afterwards. So I made one. EasyTimer is a small site that does one thing: it counts time. Open it in a browser, you have a timer. Most settings live in the URL — share the link and the receiver inherits the configuration, no account needed. It works offline for pages you've already opened. It runs as an OBS browser source with a transparent background. Today there are no third-party trackers, no ad networks, no analytics SDKs — just the timer and the chrome around it. The free core stays free without ads, signup, or tracking. It's a side project; the deliberate constraint is doing timer-shaped things well — and saying no to everything that isn't timer-shaped.

If you spot a bug or have an idea that fits, email me at hello@easytimer.app — I read it all, even if I can't reply to everything.
